I needed to order some flowers to send to my sister and I needed them to be delivered same day, so I decided to take my chances and call up a random florist near her house to see if they would do it. I checked out a few websites that looked kinda shady and then found Diamond's Flowers. I called them up and the woman I spoke to was really nice and said she could deliver the flowers that afternoon. I told her how much I wanted to spend and she asked what type of bouquet I had in mind. I said that I wanted to do a bouquet of hydangeas or a bouquet of gerbera daisies. Unfortunately, they didn't have hydrangeas and they didn't have many gerbera daisies, so I told her to do a mixed bouquet, but specified I wanted no baby's breath. I prefer bouquets of just flowers and no fillers. Fillers of greens and especially baby's breath are so outdated, right? I also told her that my sister likes pastel colors best, but that I would leave it up to them to decide what looks best with the flowers they have available. My sister called later that day to say she got the bouquet and sent me a picture text and guess what? It was full of baby's breath! That kinda ticked me off. She said the bouquet was really pretty, but the colors were slightly odd. They did have nice flowers in there though, so I do feel like the bouquet was worth the price I spent, but I guess if I ordered from them again I would need to tell them specifically what to put in and not leave it up to them to do a mixed bouquet.
