Since it was the hubbys 50th birthday we decided to try something new on this visit to Vegas. Reviews for Hugo's cellar were really good and the Chateaubriand and lobster for two sounded like just the ticket for our celebration. The setting is lovely, dark and romantic. The meal started off nicely with a wonderful salad served table side but unfortunately the experience went down from there. We were quite excited when we saw the nice sized lobster tail and were fully ready to enjoy. The steak was ordered mid rare and served medium and the poor shellfish was overcooked to the point that no amount of butter to dip it in was going to help. The staff was semi solicitous and asked if we wanted replacements but we opted to just take our desert to go and make an end to the disappointing meal.
