  • Lived in Alexan Black Mountain from 2011-early 2015. I loved this apartment and community! I recently moved out because I decided to move in with my partner at another location, but I was sad to go. As a single female living by herself, I always felt safe on grounds. My apartment was spacious (800+ sq feet for a one bedroom) and it was a great price per month. I may have been lucky, but I had great neighbors and rarely heard any noise outside of my apartment (building 2). Maintenance requests (very few) were fixed almost immediately and the staff was very prompt on returning my emails. Sometimes it was hard to get staff on the phone when I called, but emails were always returned. Thanks for the great experience!
