  • BEST ICE CREAM ever! My husband and I went here last night after we went to a movie. I always drive past this place but have never gone, and we've lived in the area for two years! Now I know that is two years of ice cream eating that's wasted. The ice cream was so rich and creamy, much better than Honey Hut, which was a previous local favorite for me. I would definitely go back to Handel's, maybe a couple times a week! They are open year round, which is great, but I guess you have to brave the cold in winter because they don't have an indoor eating/ordering area. I got a parfait with vanilla ice cream and sour green apple ice (yummy!), which is very similar to a Gelati at Rita's Water Ice. My husband ordered a chocolate peanut butter cup sundae with hot fudge, which was really good, too!
