rev:text	Just went to Dinner at the Clarendon for Valentine's and it was fantastic. "C" is their logo and aptly so,--minimalist but retro style colors and stripes make this place pop! They have done major alterations to the pool area and all that water falling over that glass just made it look magical. It's interesting how they leave the curtains open on the windows of the unused hotel room--It creates a kind of display case for the retro style furniture pieces and accessories. The staff at the restraunt was very attentive and seemed happy to greet you, they quickly made arrangements so I did not have to sit in the middle of the dining room but instead on the side which I prefer. The food still has somewhat to go, I had lamb chops with stuffing soaked in an excellent spice mixture with cranberry sauce and a flower garnish. The lamb was not completely done but tasty nonetheless, for any of you lamb experts, I think you will agree lamb is one of the hardest meats to cook as you have to get it just right. Nothing beats the prices though, I had 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine, 2 beers and dessert for only $59.00?? Then we went to the rooftop which was equally brilliant. I really can't think of any other hotel or building in the uptown Phoenix area that has that type of rooftop entertainment. They have DJ's spinning there from 4PM to 9PM Thursday through Sunday I am told--A great place for happy hour adoring the Phoenix skyline and magnificent sunsets. Cheers to you "C" you rock and put some glam to our uptown area.
