| - This is probably my newest favorite gym in town. After a spectacular disappointment and waste of money at Lifetime Athletic over the past few months and 24 fitness in Summerlin (from 2013-2015), I moved to this gym in November of 2016. My family payments for gym membership are at a reasonable asking price compared to 24 fitness (around $200/month) and Lifetime in Summerlin ($350/month). LVAC comes with a nice gym, great locker rooms, kids care, and pool use when in season. Secondly, the quality of service here is much better. I come in and the check-in attendants are friendly and usually ask how my day is going while addressing me by first name. At 24 fitness, the staff can be friendly depending on who's there while at Lifetime, its a horror story. I'm constantly ignored because the attendants are busy getting people signed up $$$$ while I wait in lines that sometimes go out the door, especially now during the winter time. At LVAC, I come in and check-in is a breeze. Next, kids care. I have two boys, 10 and 8 years old. Unfortunately, all three gyms aren't satisfying to their needs, though at LVAC, there are at least activities for them to do. The kids care in 24 fitness is horrendous with employees sitting down and not really watching the children. I honestly don't think they even clean the area. At Lifetime, every room seems to be closed for cleaning, leaving my boys to draw pictures with toddlers. Even worse, they advertise 1 hour classes where I pay a little extra on top of my membership fees. This perk is bogus. During "breaks," my boys sit on a hard floor and get yelled at to not move for half of the hour sometimes. They did however, enjoy their gymnastics and sports games when time wasn't being sucked up. Lastly, my wife really enjoys the juice bar and the locker rooms. Although, the locker rooms can be crowded at times, the staff keeps it clean and makes sure that the entire building is catered to, as opposed to 24 and LT. Although I am new here, my family and I appreciate the great service, cleanliness, and gym aspect of LVAC and look to be members for years to come!
