  • It's rare for me to rate a place with a five, but this place is exactly what is it. Every year, we come to Az for spring training and we try to find a spot to try for the first time. So far none of them lives up to my expectations. This place.... Is a different story. This place wasn't far from our hotel when I looked up restaurants on yelp, and as soon as we drove up, I saw the hanging lights and from then, I already knew I was gonna like it inside. As we approached the entrance, there was a security guard checking ID's, so I'm guessing it's not kid friendly, which is fine. As we walked inside, I immediately had good vibes with the atmosphere there. Loved the "backyard" type feel with the twinkle lighting hanging from really nice tarps, but yet not fully covered so we can still see the stars in the sky, and had lights all over. Tables were like oversized wooden picnic booths like you were in your backyard. Food wise, well everything we had ordered was amazingly delicious. Started with a dozen of fresh oysters for $13 which was AMAZING. They were the perfect size, came with plenty of lemon, horseradish, cocktail sauce and crackers. Oysters were again amazing, I still can't stop thinking about how yummy they were. Ordered fried pickle spears with Ranch for $6. AMAZING. The pickles were super juicy and the batter was perfect. I know I keep Saying "amazing" but me when I say it's amazing, it's because they really are. Hubby ordered build your own burger, came with the works, added cheese, sautéed mushrooms which by the way were sooooo flavorful and mouthwatering, the beef patty was perfectly cooked to his ordering and again flavorful, also came with yummy loaded fries. Too bad we were full because otherwise, since all the item we ordered were all so yummy, we couldn't wait to try the others. This place is by far our favorite spot to go to even after years of trying out other places from Az. If you're reading this and you don't try this place. I'm telling you right now. YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON SOME GOOD ASS FOOD.
