We did the west rim tour and everything was pretty straightforward besides a couple things. They were a bit late in emailing our pickup times. The site says they will email you by 6:30pm but we got it at 6:45pm. We got a pickup time of 7:05am but didn't get picked until 7:20am. Just mention that its not an exact pickup time! We knew it was not realistic but still! We met up with the main bus and transferred over at the the Planet Hollywood and we were on our way. The bus is newer. They do provide a pastry and water bottles. The driver Paul does give little factoids, jokes, and tips along the way. The drive to the west rim is about 2.5 hours and they do play movies.
We did a brief stop at lake mead and the hoover dam for pictures.
There were no surprise fees at the grand canyon and everything went smoothly. We got about 4 hours at the grand canyon which is just enough time to do everything. There was a bit of a line at the skywalk so we had to rush a bit at guano point which is the most scenic of the viewpoints. We did have a bbq lunch which was included. When everything was done we headed back to vegas with no stops. Someone on our tour was staying at South point so we had to go out of our way to drop them off! lol. We got back to our hotel at 5:30pm.
Overall pretty organized tour! Did a bit of research of the different tour companies and made the right choice!
