  • SHORTEST DONUT BAR LINE EVER (3.7 stars) It was shocking to see a 4 person line because the one in San Diego runs out the door and down the street. so many selections.... can i order them all ;P When you can't decide ALWAYS STICK TO THE ONE THAT CAUGHT YOUR EYE FIRST. And that delicious fattening fried batter goes to.... OHH MY BIRTHDAY CAKE OREO It was a very good donut but... I like my donuts with a little more fluff, a lot less sugar, and a custard texture in the middle. This was different. This was a donut with a reconstructed Oreo in the middle, with cake icing on the top with crumbles of Oreo and cake confetti. Sugar sugar and more sugar. If you strip all that and taste the donut, it's actually nothing special without that extra flavoring. The donut itself was dry. Again, good donut... I just have had a really good donut elsewhere that I hold high standards too. I'll be real honest though... donut bar seems to only be good because of the flavoring that covers the donut. Strip all that way and you have a boring stale and dry donut. Until the next review...
