| - Great downtown location. Knowledgable, professional staff. Tons of selection (depending on time of year). Stellar prices - usually have sales. Always have free samples to try (with ID of course)! Open late for your late night shenanigans!
I have a fairly limited knowledge of wine. Went in looking for a good-quality, lighter, wine without the strong taste of cabernet (on the heavier side), and without breaking the bank. Was thrilled I found one with an exquisite taste! If you have an idea of what you're looking for/ the kind of food (chocolate vs. savioury vs. sweet) you'd like to pair it with, the staff are really knowledgeable in recommending what they think you'd enjoy.
Tons of local, Ontario, and Canadian selections red and whites, etc. (pinot grigio, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, zinfandel, riesling, chardonnay, ice wine, the list goes on)! Unfortunately, no champagne though! :(
Ultimately chose a 2014 Inniskillin Pinot Noir (red wine) for about $16 total, just what I was looking for! Enjoying my glass as I write this.
