  • I've stayed here years ago and booked last week on a promo from hotels.com and thought it would fun to be off strip. It was just ok. It feels tired at least from the staff pov. No energy or glad you're here kind of vibe, just hey how ya doing. Some of the newer restaurants were ok, but not enough to bring me back. The pool was closed due to bad weather and Sunday it cleared up, but the pool was going to close anyway. That let the one shining star named Lionel come to the rescue. He brought us to another pool (rehab) and we had a beer. He had the juju hard rock was known for. The era of the Stones, Aerosmith and Bowie. Icons. A big renovation is planned and maybe with that they will reclaim the magic of old. I hope so, such a great brand.
