  • My husband and I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express 4 times, and each time it's still as great as the last. It might seem a little odd to walk into this old stone building and see just a desk in the middle of the huge lobby, but that's just one of the things that makes this hotel special! I LOVE the reviewer who only gave this hotel 3 stars because "it's old." Well, yeah it's old.... it's a restored historic building! The rooms, with their 12 foot ceilings, original hardwood floors, (almost) floor to ceiling windows, and jetted tubs in room, are just some of the things that keep us coming back. The staff is amazingly friendly and accommodating. One year, for our anniversary, we had a dozen balloons, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room! So sweet! I know it's just a Holiday Inn Express, but this one is special! Would recommend anyone to check this place out! Oh! One thing- parking is around the block in a parking garage. This is downtown Cleveland, so obviously it is next to impossible to have parking on-site. Just be prepared to walk.
