| - This may be a shocker to my long-time Yelp buddies, but I don't have any pictures of my $31.99 weekend dinner. If you want to blame my ravenous, cranky behavior, go right ahead.
Anyway, the all-in-all experience of this buffet in Vegas was not shabby at all. The quality of the foods in each station were standard. Variety was alright and there were some items that I wasn't akin to after taking a few bites, such as all the steak offerings -- whether it's beef or fish. Not surprisingly, there were some edibles that frankly didn't appear to be edible to a superficial foodie: e.g. would you trust overly cracked macarons from the sweet stations?
Yet, I stumbled upon some foods that were quite flavorful. For paying dinner price I'd surely nibble on the Duck a L'Orange and ravage through the Crab Legs, even if some limbs were semi-frozen. Last but not least, I certainly found foods that grabbed my taste buds in awe: the addictive Truffle Mac & Cheese, anything with shellfish (which I was personally surprised), salad, cocktail shrimp, anything with veggies, and the scrumptious Brandy Apple Crepe.
This buffet is definitely not for 1st timers in Vegas and for those who need tons of flavor in their gastronomic life. However, for the joyful company (i.e. family members) and for a last-minute or convenient AYCE that doesn't come with a heinous, excessively serpentine line, Le Village Buffet should be considered.
