  • First of all, I looovvveeee Cantina. I frequently visit the one in the park road shopping center. We had some friends in town and wanted to go somewhere for a late lunch before the hornets game. Cantina 1511 uptown is the perfect location. It is a short walk from the arena, has a large amount of TVs, and the prices are reasonable. We all ordered drinks, waters, and the queso appetizer. It took a while to get our drinks, but the queso came out fast. Let me tell you....their queso is not ordinary Mexican queso. It's in a little pot that the server lights a built in burner to keep it warm. The chips and salsa are my favorite of any other Mexican restaurant. I ordered the steak quesadilla that was packed full of meat and ended up splitting it with my husband. Our waitress asked if we were ready for our check and we were but it took forever to get it and to pay. The service seems to be hit or miss at this location.
