I have mixed feelings about the new Starbucks considering there is a fully-functional Starbucks in the new Target. The difference being the convenience of a drivethru. While I've only been through it a few times, it has been after school (I attend Hamilton). It does get busy after school, but I feel like much of the snag in speed is due to the service.
My first time there I walked in, and was impressed by the decor. The girl at the register (the first time) was so helpful and patient to my indecisiveness and the coffee arrived promptly.
The last few times I've waited inside the place for a while before getting my coffee and also having them blame me for my card not working. I had to ask them multiple times to charge my debit card, which worked fine after having a different girl run the card in the register. It gets busy after school and they seem all over the place, focusing on the drivethru when they should be focusing on people who take the time to walk inside and grab their coffee, especially if they ordered first.
When I was in the drivethru the girl who was there apologized for the slowness and expressed her frustrations with work. It was a bit unprofessional but nothing I'd hold against her since dealing with a bunch of high school kids is not my idea of a great job.
In general, the service and product is A-OK. Try the Starbucks in Target and you might find better service since it's not as popular and they don't have a clogged drivethru.
