Fat Choy's been on my list of places to go ever since I saw Chef Sheridan Su on Food Network's Chopped. It's located inside this really small casino that's off the strip.
I came here early in the day because I've had too many missed opportunities to go, and didn't want to possibly jeopardize my chances with a wait to get seated. I came right before the lunch rush and was able to get great service. There seemed to only be 2 servers working, but they were quick and good at what they do. They had one of the coca cola freestyle machines so the drink possibilities were endless and our server was nice enough to list me all of the options.
We ordered the pork belly bao and the peking duck bao to start. And then I had their daily special, the pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend got the duck rice. The baos were what drew me to Fat Choy and they definitely did not disappoint. I also really liked my pulled pork sandwich, it's the same pork they use in their baos but it's been cooked over night and seasoned with their own barbeque sauce.
