  • Took the kiddos here on a field trip yesterday. They LOVED it! The tour was thorough and they really enjoyed seeing all parts of the process. One boy came in today saying he saw a Herr's truck outside a store and I thought it was great that he also knew what had to happen before the chips were inside of that truck. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The kids loved the chicken fingers that they had for lunch. We were given so many free chips and were able to share with other classes at school. Best part: The warm sampling of chips, right off the conveyor belt. Our tour guide, Brenda, gave a huge handful to each student and I was able to have some as well. A warm potato chip is a mightily beautiful thing, folks. You need to try them. :)
