  • This place is soooooooooooo good! I had the combo plate with the smoked meat sandwich, and upgraded my fries to poutine. I didn't do the cherry soda. I started to get really full, so stopped eating the bread. The meat was smoked to perfection, and the "medium" had just the right proportion of fat. Oh, and the poutine's gravy...dang it. Way better than my grandma's meat gravy. And I didn't know that was possible!! The staff have more of a diner attitude. Short and to the point. But friendly, and gets the job done. No excessive service here, and it isn't needed. The food was great, and there isn't a wait. No need to go to tourist stop Schwartz's. There are other stops in town, and thanks to Yelp I found this one!
