  • So Island Time Tiki Bar, we must of came on a bad day, cause with all the great reviews that were written on here you would think it's the best place in Vegas for tacos and burritos!! That wasn't the case for when my friend and I decided to stop in for lunch. My friend and I looked at the menu for a 10 minutes and as we approached the cash register , I started ordering and the person at the register and pointed to the end and said "oh you need to order there" a little confused by that and I said "well can you not take our order?" We've been standing here and no one took our over at that end" with a little huff and puff she proceeded to take our order. She took my order then took my friend, my friend wanted to order a burrito and the cashier said "oh we are out of big tortillas!" My friend was upset to hear after we have been standing looking at the menu and NO ONE told us that we couldn't order any of the burritos! So she decided and just get the same thing as me, so we both got The Caribbean Blackened Shrimp Tacos. So service alone was horrible! But we before we can sit down we got our food, and that was even more disappointing! I'm not sure what they considered a "Platter" but what we got was NOT a Platter, it was a round Dixie plate. What's pictured was 4 Shrimp Tacos what we got was 2 Shrimp Tacos, rice and beans chips with no salsa to go with it! The Shrimp Tacos were cold, had a very bland taste to it, the rice and beans were just as bad, no flavor in the beans and the chips were so stale! No amount of hot sauce could cover up how horrible the food was. So needless to say I just paid 17.95 for bad food along with horrible service. I don't recommend this place unless you want that kind of food and service, I will not go back. So take your money somewhere else and save you the grief!
