I was looking for some authentic char siu bao and red bean pastries, and I think I found the best spot in Las Vegas. I have to admit, the bakery had many different varieties of pastries and breads, but the only few I found appealing were the red bean pastries and the char siu bao. Maybe the Diamond Bakery has more to offer, but the only two times I have been to this location I have ordered the same two dishes because I enjoyed them so much.
The staff at the Diamond Bakery struggled with English, which I thought was a good sign from the beginning for authenticity. It is located in Chinatown in the main mall. The outside screamed authenticity, and the inside confirmed. The food is great and fresh. I recommend anyone tries the char siu bao and red bean pastries. Great prices as well.
