When we decided to renovate our kitchen the first thing we wanted to do was our countertops. We looked all over town and got several bids. We ended up going with National Stone and I am so glad we did. The first thing is that they charge you a flat rate per square foot. Other places want you to buy entire slabs. For our kitchen this meant we would have had to buy two slabs and would not have used most of the second slab, what a waste. All the granite is there in their yard so you can see everything they have in stock. Jim was extremely helpful and never made me feel like we were bothering him. Once we decided to go with them we put half down and scheduled our day.
The crew showed up and for right to work. We paid for them to demo, which was great because it only took them like 45 min and they took all the garbage with them. They then laid the subtop and then brought the granite in. What a difference it made! After everything was in they were very careful to clean everything up and put our appliance back.
Just note you will need a plumber, they just do the granite.
All and all we had a great experience with them and would recommend them to anyone.
