I recently received a bill from Advanced Dental for services I had done two years ago.
I am a military dependent and my dental insurance company was different at the time than it currently is. The office manager stated and I quote, " I am new here and the old girl did not bill appropriately to the insurance companies."
My old dental insurance paid everything, it was great, never had a bill. Because the old office manager failed to make appropriate charges, I am being charged two years later. Awful thing is is that I cannot get in contact with my old insurance provider to find out what the charges were. Somehow I think Advanced Dental knows this and is taking advantage of military members and dependents.
My previous insurance company would have paid 100% if they were charged appropriately and now I am being sought after for their failure.
They have lost a customer over their big mistake.
