  • Having just gone to Spain recently, I was skeptical, especially since it was so much cheaper for tapas in Barcelona, but I have to say the paella here was better than what I had in Barcelona (yes, I know, Barcelona is not known for paella). Order the paella first when you get there since it takes 45-60 min. We started with a pitcher of red sangria, which was good - not to sweet, with lots of fruit. Things are better done family style here. - Lobster gazpacho: with a gazpacho ball and one small piece of lobster, mini croutons, and some micro greens. The soup is poured over it, and the flavor was good. While the gazpacho ball was interesting, the coconut butter shell wasn't very good - Lobster salad: more like a lobster avocado crostini with 2 small pieces and some mixed greens on the side - disappointing - Jamon croquetta with cheese fondue: the fondue added good flavor, but the croquette fell apart when you picked it up - I think the inside was too watery? - Octopus a la gallega: lots of paprika, with potatoes underneath. The octopus wasn't bad - Yellowtail tiradito: lighter, more refreshing - Chorizo with honey and whipped potatoes: the honey was really good on this to go with the spicy chorizo - Tortilla Espanola: pretty legit in terms of the texture and ratio of eggs and potatoes - Mixed paella: originally portioned "for 2 people," but we increased it to a portion for 3. The flavor on this was good, but I thought it needed some salt. It came with half of a small obster tail, shrimp, museels, chorizo, and chicken thighs. The artichokes were a nice touch - Fideua paella: the more interesting noodle kind. The texture was actually really good on this one, and I liked that it had shrimp and fermented garlic, but it could have done without the aioli globs on top Even though it wasn't busy during our late lunch, service was spotty, and I had to ask multiple times for things like salt. The lack of service and the large tables just made everything feel very impersonal here. The space is really large, and seats are awkwardly big, so you feel far away from the rest of your table. If you have less people, I would suggest the bar seating. You might be able to get more attention this way, too.
