  • Less than enthused about Value City. Since I just moved here, I needed a mattress for my guests to come visit. So since I was already at Ikea, but I had a rockin' vintage bedroom suite, all I needed was a standard frame and mattress. So I mosey-ed on over to VC. Typical furniture gig - swarm and attack by the sales folk. Then once I've made my purchase the bed and frame show up as promised, however, there is no box spring. A few days later I finally get a call telling me when it's going to show up (sometime between 11 and 2). Except by 2 I'm sitting there without a box spring. Eventually it shows up late, but wasted most of my day (not to mention several days without my guest bed set up). Still a little peeved about it. But at least the bed's comfy.
