This is one of the main reasons I wanted to go to Cleveland, and it does not rock. This museum should have loud music blasting and more guitars. For how large the place looks on the outside there is not that much exhibition space. The biggest part was the food court. The only food served at the food court should be Jack Daniels and heroin. But I think they were serving nachos and stuff of that nature. There was a nice area of Beatles and Rolling Stones, but not enough. Most of the museum is filled with junk from a Pink Floyd garage sale. I was more impressed with the Hard Rock Casino in Vegas than this place. Some of the stuff in the displays I have at home. The best stuff you don't even need a ticket for. Go down the first escalator and you can see some guitars, Johnny Ramone's is the best. Then check out the old CBGB awning. It is not an exhibit, it just hangs there. You can see ZZ Top's Eliminator and a few other cars. This stuff is all free.
If you really want a history of rock and roll, find a record store buy as much vinyl as you can for $22 bucks. Go and look at the free stuff, the rest of the museum was a major letdown.
