I recently took my 7 yr old nephew and 3 yr old niece on their first train ride on the CV. they had a lot of questions about the train- I think they were expecting a roller coaster. I'm not sure they really enjoyed it much, but in my opinion, it was a lovely time.
The booking process was easy and arrival was also clear. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful and I liked that there were maps and schedules readily available.
The concession cart was a nice touch, but very very expensive. I was disappointed in that. Because of the prices, we bought nothing. Had the prices been more affordable, we likely would have spent some money there.
The kids were getting restless so we got off in Peninsula (boarded at Rockside). It was a little too early in the day and nothing was open yet. We were a little disappointed to find there wasn't much to visit.
