  • Sad....because I'm a supporter of tech. schools and their students.....went there last night for a "standard pedicure" after making an appointment. Appointment started late (no big deal....typical with salons....expected) was taken back to nail area and began the initial soak.....was then asked if I just wanted the "massage and/or polish ". I said I just wanted the nails cut, trimmed, etc for a pedicure. Was told, "Oh, we don't really do nail trimming here." She attempted to file the nails but, as time went on....I had placed to go and it wasn't really the service I wanted or expected. She even attempted to find a pair of nail clippers....to no success in the entire school/salon. The student was EXTREMELY nice and tried hard but, I think the school failed her and I when they advertise "pedicures" and don't train the students or let clients know it's only a soak, foot massage, and nail polish application.
