| - As I was in the neighborhood for some work meetings, I decided to pop in here for dinner.
Location & Aesthetics -- located just away from the corner of N 19th Ave and Greenway Road in a small strip mall area.
A bit difficult to miss based on the signage as the business sign doesn't pop out at you, but blends in with some of the other business signs.
Lots of available parking out front.
Interior -- very spacious with lots of available comfortable seating, very clean tables and surroundings, and adequate lighting.
Noise level was quiet even with the TV's on the walls as they were muted.
Service -- staff were warm and friendly, and welcomed us as we walked inside. Service to the table was prompt and very courteous.
Menu -- very easy to comprehend as there were photos on the walls that displayed what some of the dishes were like. Menus were provided as we approached the checkout.
Food -- very delicious! Ordered the 2-meat plate -- rice, chicken, ground beef (I believe), tomatoes, and onions. This came with a complimentary bowl of either chicken soup or lentil. I went with the latter. A basket of pita bread with tzatziki sauce is also brought to the table.
The lentil soup was very hot, not scalding, and very tasty with some kick to it -- well seasoned. The pita bread was also very hot, and the tzatziki sauce was also very tasty -- seemed like there was the correct amount of strained yogurt, cucumbers, garlic, olive oil, and salt. It was too oily or too pasty and completed the pita bread just well enough.
The 2-meat plate -- rice, ground beef (I believe) and chicken were all delicious. My only gripe was I felt there should've been more meat on the plate -- more pieces of chicken and/or beef (-1). The both meats were adequately seasoned and cooked/served at the right temperature.
The rice wasn't too oily/greasy, and very well seasoned, and tasted freshly cooked/prepared.
If I am in the neighborhood again I will definitely visit again to try some of their other delicious looking plates!
