  • Through the luck of a referral and a change in schedules, I was paired with Dr. Valerie Sorkin-Wells at Arizona Wellness Center for Women. I had been suffering from continued bleeding, and my primary physician thought it might be endometrial cancer. Dr. Sorkin-Wells diagnosed me with fibroids and suggested a hysterectomy. As it turns out, she is the Valley leader in the laparoscopic procedure, so I knew I would be in great hands. The whole process was smooth and amazing. My recovery was speedy, and at the end of my checkups, Dr. Sorkin-Wells even gave me a hug! She asked if I want to stay with her as my GYN, and I definitely do! We don't usually look forward to seeing the doctor, but in this case, I have no trepidation at all in working with Dr. Sorkin-Wells. She and the rest of the team are all top notch. I can't recommend highly enough!
