  • They simply don't know what they are doing. I can't speak to the quality of the spa services, but their scheduling and receptionist people are ridiculous, and frankly, a bunch of idiots. I wanted to schedule facials and pedicures for my wife and mother-in-law. First, the website to schedule the spa services wasn't working. So, I called, scheduled the services, they gave me the price, and I gave them my credit card number over the phone. Then, the morning of the afternoon appointment, they called me twice, leaving voice messages, asking again for my credit card number. I called back, spent a long time on hold and was told that they didn't know why I was called and telling me that nobody should be asking for my credit card number. An hour or so later, I got a third call from them, again asking for my credit car number. I ask them why, and explained what I had been told. She said that she really just needed to verify that I still wanted to use the credit card that I previously gave. (So why did she ask for my credit card number in the first place??) Then, after the appointment, I get another call from them, asking for my credit card number again and telling me that the price they previously quoted me had increased. My wife then called me at the same time, and she told me that they are having a hard time figuring out the payment (which really annoyed me, because the purpose of me paying was so that my wife and mother-in-law could have a nice time without worrying about payment). I then switched back to the receptionist, who explained that they really just need to know whether to put the tip on my credit card. Again, this was annoying because I already told them to put the tip on my card when I first scheduled the appointment. Plus, I had emailed them an authorization form after I scheduled the appointment, which gave them permission to put all charges, including gratuity, on my card. Plus, WHY were they calling and asking for my credit card number AGAIN if they really just want to know whether to put the gratuity on it?? In sum, I wanted to do a nice thing for my wife and mother-in-law, without them worrying about paying or the price. Instead, Green Valley turned it into a payment/administrative nightmare and ruined my attempt to keep the price away from my wife and mother-in-law.
