This place is horrible, run down, and staffed with poorly trained people.
When we arrived we noticed outside a lot of what appear to be homeless, and tweeker(drug addicts) people with shopping bag standing around the parking lot and at the entrance of the casino. We walked inside and it didn't look too much different than the type of people that were standing outside the casino.
We checked in and went up to our room , when we get out of the elevator we noticed a bunch of kids running up and down the hallway. When we got into our room we called the front desk to see if they could send somebody up to take control of the situation. The lady at the front desk told
me they'll try to get somebody up there. Needless to say no one went up there because it was like that the whole weekend kids running up and down the hallway banging on Doors.
Later on that night my daughter checked into her room, and she came down to join us for the evening at one of the bars. As she was walking to meet us a security lady with three other officers approached her ask her for her identification and informed her that they had gotten calls about her being underage and was running around the casino. Now mind you my daughter is 22 years old. the security lady started speaking to her in Spanish. my daughter does not speak Spanish. she informed the security lady that she does not speak Spanish.the security lady asked her question in Spanish again. by this time there was a group of people staring and looking at the situation which was quite embarrassing for her.
After explaining that she is a guest and she had just checked in. They said "well we where told you were underage", my daughter asked who told them that, and "can't you see for my driver's license I am of age??"
I think the situation could have been handled more professional. They did not need to make a scene like they did.
When we went to check out today the only had one lady at the front desk there was a line of people trying to check out. I mean, it's Sunday check outs.
When we got to the front desk I asked to speak to the manager (Adam) I started off by letting him know I have been coming to the Station Casinos for the past 25 years , and I have been coming to Boulder Station for at least the last 6 years. I let him know about the episode with my daughter and his security team. I explained to him how it was not professional and quite embarrassing for my daughter. I also asked him about the type of people standing around the parking lot and inside his Casino which appear to be on drugs to say the least. He just told me that he will speak to his security team and as far as the people around his establishment "it's a lot better than what it was" he didn't show Too Much concern of any of the situation that I had fainted. Needless to say I will never step foot in that casino again.
