I was in the market for a new vehicle in 2014 and went to Bill Luke after finding some Grand Cherokees online that I was interested in. The vehicle was used and has roughly 5,000 miles on it. I believe the Jeep was fairly new and was listed for more than Kelley Blue Book value but "marked down" to about $28,000 (if I can remember correctly). While negotiating with the sales team, I mentioned to them that Blue Book value was much less than the original price before it was "marked down" and that the "marked down" price was still more than Blue Book value. I basically told them they were lying by saying the vehicle was being marked down to make people think they are getting a great deal, and they told me it was a "marketing tactic". I was floored that they even admitted that. The sales team I worked with was very rude and would come back to me with numbers that made it so that I would still be paying asking price with just the time frame/interest rate/monthly payment rearranged to look like it was a different quote. I was also looking to trade in my vehicle (it was, at the time, 5 years old with 90+ thousand miles on it but still in otherwise great condition) and was told that since they "wouldn't be able to get much at auction" for it that they would not give me anywhere close to Blue Book value for it. I am a young woman and came in alone and I'm not sure if they thought they could get away with scamming me, but I am not dumb and I know when I am trying to get screwed over! I will NEVER go to this location again. I ended up buying a Jeep from another dealership and they experience was very pleasant.
