  • V & V was recomended to me by a classic car mechanic because they do excellent work and they don't upsell. I've had 3 other mechanics in Vegas in the last 14 years. I brought in my 2004 Toyota Tacoma because of an engine check light. They traced it back to a bad roll-over valve in the emissions system. It was a spendy repair, but the light was off when I left and Don the owner explained the repair so I could understand it. When the light came back on, I texted Don (a shop owner that actually talks to customers!) and he texted back 15 minutes later and told me to bring it right in, and they would give me a ride home if I needed it! 20 minutes later I was in the shop and Greg, the same mechanic that did the original work, had it up on the lift and found the problem, which was a quick fix. Greg apologized that he didn't tighten a bolt enough the first time around and took full responsibiity without any hesitation. I wa back on the road in half an hour, no drama, no blamng me for the problem. If your priorities are solid work, customer respect, pricing transparency and quick follow up to calls and texts, this is your place.
