Worst hotel experience I've had in awhile. My boo and I needed a room for the night so we spent about 30 minutes on the phone with several hotel operators attempting to find a smoking room. I realize I'm in the minority on this one so I'm generally patient but we finally got one here at this hotel. When we arrived I was exhausted after driving all day and SO PUMPED to chill and relax. Until the front desk lady said "NOPE NO SMOKING ROOMS HERE!" I really about punched her in the face but then took a deep breath and apologized for my sass. I agreed to stay there because I was beat. The front desk woman said she had just been off work for a few months and barely knew how to work the machines? Nice. Anyway we asked her about a promo we saw online to book for the next weekend at a reduced rate- she quickly told us she had no idea about that. Real nice. So we get in the room and it was tiny and looked like a cheap motel. Bathroom looked old and outdated. No hair dryer for some reason which infuriated me. Trash cans had no liners. It was a small room too. We had just stayed in a WV Marriott the night before for the same price and the two were absolutely incomparable. We went to the pool and there were no towels, I had to scamper my lil behind out to the lobby dripping in hot tub water to ask for some. I jumped in the pool and immediately regretted it. It was salty. THE WATER WAS SALTY I almost threw up then went to get a shower. (WISH I WOULDVE REALIZED THERE WAS NO HAIR DRYER BEFORE I DID THAT). Also the television remote had two buttons on it, no TV guide, and in total there were about 5 channels that actually worked. No restaurants nearby. We ate friggin pringles for dinner. NEVER AGAIN, don't stay here. *scowls*
