| - Absolutely, hands down, the best and only place to purchase jewelry ever!
I was on a mission to replace my engagement ring that was unfortunately lost about 1 1/2 years ago (I was devastated when it happened). But with life and school etc, we couldn't replace it until now.
The original ring was purchased at a local jeweler in Virginia Beach, VA. (We're stationed here in Va Beach and I'm originally a Midwesterner from northern Minnesota). My husband did a wonderful job of picking a piece that fit me very well. He, nor I, are familiar with designer jewelry and couldn't tell you the difference between one designer over another. But he happened to buy a Tacori bc the beautiful etching detail fit my personality. (Only after did I learn that Tacori is quite the renowned designer and with that can also be expensive). I'm sure he paid way too much at the local place. But anyways... Of course when it came time to replace it I wanted the exact Tacori band but hopefully not at the price he paid. There had to be a better way! Insert Google search for my ring and BAM! There at the top was TQ diamonds. So I browsed the site and 1) liked the prices I was seeing and 2) the immaculate reviews on google and Yelp and 3) that they're located in Wisconsin. I'm from the Midwest and Midwesterners are known for being hard workers, dependable, and honest. Having one location for 23 years and having lots of national sales along with being one of the top authorized Tacori dealers all gave me a good feeling. So I called and spoke with Ted just to get more information.
Ted was amazing. He answered every question I had (and I had A LOT). He didn't rush me off the phone. He had great suggestions that were genuine to my wants and needs without trying to "up-sell" me like a car dealership. I told him I would speak with my husband and get back to him in a few days. There was no pressure to purchase immediately. I could tell in our first conversation that he was genuinely concerned about my happiness when it came to purchasing this piece.
We decided to move forward with the purchase and I'm SO glad we did. Ted walked me through every step of the way. He went leaps and bounds above my expectations with timelines and communication. He even put my worries at ease in regards to the finished product. I expressed my concern for being 2,000 miles away and not being able to lay eyes on my stone or ring before bringing it home. What if the color (yellow sapphire) wasn't the right shade of yellow, I had said. Ted again exceeded my expectations and laid out a plan to make sure I was completely satisfied with the piece and let me know that if I wasn't when it arrived that I could return it and they would make the necessary adjustments until it was perfect.
My ring arrived a week in advance and I was completely surprised! I didn't know he had gotten the setting so quickly! I was so ecstatic to see my yellow sapphire set perfectly in my ring and at first questioned if the ring was real! ...I thought, did he just place the stone in a fake setting for me to gauge whether the yellow sapphire was the right color ?? Nope, it was my ring! And it was absolutely perfect. He got the yellow color of the sapphire perfect! Not too light and not too dark. The cut, the glisten, the sparkle, perfect!
Ted and TQ have absolutely gained a lifetime customer over here! I will be recommending all of my family and friends to TQ for life. I never would've thought purchasing something as precious as a piece of jewelry from 2,000 miles away could go as smoothly without stress as it did. Thank you Ted! You're a gem!
