I have been to this coffee shop several times. It is one of the few alternatives to the behemoth on every corner with a line of SUV's stretching to the moon. The staff is friendly, and accommodating. I love to patronize local coffee shops, but often without the corporate training program what you get are a couple of teenage employees more interested in talking about the latest MTV reality show than making your coffee. That is not the case here. They are quick and professional. This morning the cashier was straightening some product, and apologized for making me wait. They always make my drink correctly, and bring it to me rather than calling my name to pick it up at the counter. I don't come here often enough to be a regular so I assume they do this for everybody. The radio is at a normal level, and typically tuned to a non-offensive jazz station. Again I have been to independents where the employees are apt to have something on the radio that makes me want to leave ASAP. Obviously management at this place has a clue. They also carry cigarettes. While I don't smoke, and find it disgusting I think it is awesome that they carry something that includes everybody. Where I grew up all independent coffee house carried cigarettes. This is a great bonus, and adds to the authenticity of the place. I don't live close by, but I do go out of my way to be her. I almost forgot to mention the product. It is far superior to what you would get at the corporate concept places. They have numerous dairy substitutes as well rather than just nasty soy milk. This is a huge bonus. I recommend this place all the time.
