  • If I could give them no stars I would. I check my cats there a couple of time the last time I took my cat he was very sick he vomited all over his crate and he's a big 20 pound cat. He was all over the place in his cat crate and I had to take him out but there are dogs around so I asked if they could put me in a room and the front desk girl told me no not yet. So I took him out and I said I needed something to clean up the vomit with can someone help me and the front desk girl said there's paper towels in the bathroom. Mind you I have a 20 lb cat is terrified of dogs I have a cat crate that's full of vomit and he's freaking out. So I knock on the Vets door because I see her in there with a patient ask her to put me in a room and she looked at me like I was crazy but eventually she got me in there quickly cuz I was not happy. After that incident I stopped going there because that was ridiculous. Yesterday I found a pigeon and distress it had been poisoned and other animal hospitals that I have brought Birds to that have been in distress have all taking them and either taking care of them or would have put them down if needed at no cost. I go in there with this pigeon yesterday she's clearly going to die and I asked him if they could help and the front desk girl said oh really don't see birds but let me go ask... Comes back and says yeah I guess we could put her down but you're going to have to pay for it if you want us to do that. I just about fell over because the lack of compassion that this place has towards animals is saddening to me. I couldn't believe that three veterinarians in a room came to that conclusion. None of them had any compassion to take this poor bird in and put it out of its misery. I should have went where I was going to go in the first place which was All About Cats even though if they don't deal with birds at all first because that's where I take my cats now. So I took the pigeon there and they gladly took in the bird they saw that she was poisoned and they put her out of her misery without charging me. Bravo All About Cats that clearly shows that there are people in this world that care more about animals than they do money. I am absolutely disgusted by the way Durango Animal Hospital treated my cat, treated this pigeon, and treated me. You guys make me sick. And I have told everyone about this.... I work in an airport so I know a lot of people that live out here so I hope you lose a lot of business
