I ran the 15k on Sunday, 12/4/16. Parking is pretty easy. Course is very average. Gets a little tight in some places and I am not a fan of running long straight stretches just to make a u-turn and run that long straight stretch back. Decent course support, but I really don't understand why any serious runners would want to eat candy while running. The finisher area is probably the worst of any longer race I have ever run. I get that this is a themed run, but lame cups of generic electrolyte drink and bottle of warm water does not meet the standard of finisher areas. The cup of hot chocolate, fondue chocolate and various dipper stuff is served in a PLASTIC combo cup that makes it impossible to use functionally unless you happen to be blessed with three arms. If this chocolate fondue thing is their niche, they need to set up a bunch of tables so people can actually unwrap items when they set down their bowl somewhere. My main gripe is the PLASTIC cup/bowl. Nearly everyone i saw used the bowl, then threw it away because it would be impossible to take home- unless you wanted chocolate spilled all over your car. Perhaps put the chocolate in a disposable biodegradable cup inside the plastic cup so it can be easily discarded and the plastic cup can be saved in a somewhat clean manner or perhaps collected and recycled for future races. Overall, This run is fine, but I don't think I would ever run it again.
