  • Stopped here for lunch and was a little disappointed (but let me preface by saying that I probably should have just gone to a restaurant and not a bar). I ordered the cheese curds and the salmon grilled cheese, and neither were as tasty as I was hoping. The cheese curds were more breading than cheese, which was a let down since I'm visiting Wisconsin and therefore want the best cheese curds I've ever had. I went to the Old Fashioned last night and much prefer their cheese curds. The salmon grilled cheese was just kind of meh - greasy and the flavor was a little harsh. Service was fine and the vibe was cool. Don't get me wrong, nothing was actually bad about the food - I think my expectations were just high for a place that is clearly a bar first. I'd likely return for a beer or two.
