Lovely hotel, although it's not so family friendly compared to some other hotels around.
It's more for the young hip peeps or couples.
I've stayed here a few times in their 1 bedroom suite (kitchen, japanese soaking tub, and a huge patio with great views.)
The room is separated by a sliding door and connected to the bathroom with a direct view and access of a Japanese soaking tub.
The main room doors connected to the hallways are SO annoying.
So heavy and loud when it shuts!
Forget sleeping on the sofa sleeper or anywhere in the living area.
Sleeper quality was really lumpy and it caved in the center.
Only place you can sleep is inside the actual room since it's furthest from the main doors and the sliding door to help block out the noise.
I can't imagine how you can sleep in a normal suite.
Other than that, the bedding is nice, and the Japanese soaking tub with a view is great.
It's a very modern look with bright blues, purples and white.
They have great restaurants at Cosmo but you must try the Secret Pizza joint.
It's between a couple of restaurants and a narrow hallway that leads to you there.
In the early days, they used to make you use your card key to access your elevator to get to your rooms. It was annoying and now they don't do it anymore, but I can see why they did.
My March 2015 visit, we had an "un-welcomed" visitor on our floor.
Somehow a homeless person got in and was sitting in the hallway of our floor.
There was security asking him to leave politely. I was glad there was no struggle.
I felt really bad for the homeless guy.
He was REALLY homeless and looked like he was barely able to speak or even move.
Either way...this happened and yes I freaked a little but the smell was the hard part.
The smell came into our room and the hallways wreaked.
I had to call the front to see if they can do something about the smell.
Came out a couple hours later to see that it smelled beautifully...I wondered how they did it.
