Very disappointed! Thought we finally found a shop we can trust. But turns out they are crooks like the rest in that industry. After being charged over $700 at a dealership shop to have an AC in a tiny Chevy spark repaired only to have it stop working and going in to be told it would cost another $2k to fix we decided to get a second opinion. Wilhelms checked it out and said it was not that extensive of a repair. They proceeded to do $400 in repairs only to have it stop working again. This time they claimed it was nothing big and repaired it for no charge saying it was covered by a warranty.
Now it stopped working again and suddenly it is much more serious and will cost another $1100. They are either incompetent or straight crooks, either way I wouldn't trust this place.
Our reasonable expectation would be that the labor necessary to get through the dash or engine area that they claim takes 7 hrs would not be charged for the 2nd time when if they would have competently repaired it the first time it would not have been necessary to do a second time. We understand the part should be our expense, but to pay for basically the same labor to get to where the part is placed 2 times is ridiculous and extremely poor business practice. Except responsibility for the costs incurred due to your own misdiagnosis. We are not even getting into the inconvenience of having to return 3 times as well as driving with no AC after paying thousands to have it working.
