My family and I went this past week for a kayaking 7 mile trip. We live in the area and wanted to try Camp Hi. Sorry to say we will never return again! The staff was not friendly at all. A few of us had our own kayak, my daughter rented a tandem. Unfortunately we waited, when we got to the drop off area, she did not have the paddles and life jacket..... because no one had told her she had to grab them. The one female bus driver, I could not believe how rude she was. She told us don't expect to come on the weekends because they are very busy?? So we waited 30 min. So they could drive back and get the equipment. They really are not organized!! You would think they would have extra paddles and life jackets at the drop off area. Or at least count them before we leave the camp to make sure everyone has them. The driver wanted to argue with me saying the lady at the counter always tells you..... sorry but she did not. The river is beautiful, the dead trees need to be thinned out. Just sorry Camp Hi was not a good experience,
