  • Why 4 stars? Because this provided quite the fun venture during my stay in Toronto. --- --- --- I always enjoy wandering about food markets when visiting a city. They allow me to pick and choose little goodies from multiple vendors, rather than to just eat at one restaurant. The only reason for the lack of 5 stars is that I didn't have a ton of luck at finding something interesting that I could eat on the spot. I knew I was going to score a Peameal Bacon Sandwich (which I found pretty overrated) but outside of that, I only ended up with one other item that I walked away with: a maple syrup lollipop. Of course. The lollipop was everything I'd want it to be, including being in the shape of the Canadian flag. The Peameal sandwich left a lot to be desired. And the rest of the market led to a lot of looking, but not a lot of buying.
