  • So we landed in Vegas and stopped at the Venetian, for lunch. We had planned on Italian fare, being "the venetian" I thought we were set... Um being from Providence, RI, my expectations for Italian food is set very high. We walked by menu after menu and then took a look at the Public House. We changed our minds immediately, and grabbed a seat. They hand you an iPad with their Beer menu as a touch screen app. You needed an app for that! the beer choices are extensive and there is a beer for everyone. So that was cool and new but not the reason we stopped, the menu is amazing. We started with the Poutine... holy *#&!... thin french fries with duck confit and cheese curds with fresh gravy that was more demi glaze than gravy. If I didn't have reservations for a fancy dinner I would have ordered a larger lunch. I order the Pub Burger, hands down the most delicious burger ever. This description is straight off the menu: all natural grass-fed beef, bacon marmalade, gruyère cheese, roast tomato, frissee, guinness aioli, w/herbed fries. Forget all the sub-par Italian food and get your butt to the Public House!
