| - What a blast!
Its been ages since I've laced up a pair of rollerskates but its just like riding a bike, once your on that floor, its hard to resist not going full throttle!
I took the kids out here and I do agree with another reviewer here, its not the easiest place to get to off Macleod trail, you might miss it so don't pass 75th!
I agree the music selection could have been more creative but it was still da bomb, my kids loved it and got a good laugh at my ass bailing not once but twice due to the vast amount of kids everywhere, one totally torpedoed me and I went down ass first!
And I really wanted to neck punch this old fart with grey hair and black cabana shirt swerving in and out at full speed between the people, many of these people which were a hot mess to begin with could barely stay upright let alone skate! Having an old crazy ass on skates, full speed weaving in and out and around everyone like a roller-Jedi wasn't cool. Its all fun and games till someone breaks a hip! We know you are good, you don't need to kill us in the process, I can barely stop on a good day and having you barrel your way around a bunch of kids makes you look like a prick.
To the kids holding hands in a large rope, don't. It was like a murder-ball version of Red Rover. Red Rover, Red Rover, get the hell outta the way or bend over! CRAZY!
Despite the little hick-ups mentioned above, I would totally go back, it was fun, and totally takes me back to my good old days at RollerLand, sniff, the nostalgia :(
