To start, we had the Onion soup and the Beets and Goat Cheese. They are both a must try. The soup had a great balanced flavor. The Beets and Goat Cheese was refreshing and tasted great. For the main meal, I had the Brazilian Stuffed Chicken. Chicken cooked perfect. It's a great healthy choice with the spinach, bell peppers and the asparagus. The plating was beautiful and gorgeous. The chicken was well seasoned and the mashed potatoes had the perfect texture and flavor. This is a restaurant that I could visit once or twice a month. The service was great and the House Manager was accommodating and very pleasant. The chef was also accommodating, he cooked a vegetarian meal that was not on the menu and creatively did a wonderful plating. Lastly, we had the Forest Fruit Tart. A good balance of sweetness and presentation. Bernard's Bistro is a must visit.
