| - As you can see below, the owner's excellent with word play and managing public perception but customer service-- not so much. We requested a DOCUMENTED quote for work -- it didn't have to be "written" exactly on paper -- it just had to be stronger than the verbal quote we were given. The fact remains: we did not receive an email quote, we did not receive a text back, we did not receive a call back, and the only response we received was days after a negative review on Yelp surfaced. Again, this is the hassle, attitude, and flakiness this company gave us from the getgo so there was no way we were trusting them to move forward.
We eventually had our plumbing work done by Arturo the Handyman (100+ reviews with 5 stars on Yelp) and we couldn't be happier with the price, quality, speed, and service. We highly recommend him instead.
_______________
Agree with the one star reviews that this business is unprofessional. We called the Red Truck Handyman last week to come out and give us a quote to replace three faucets and take a look at the garbage disposal. Justin gave us a verbal quote of $200 but refused to give us a written quote on the spot. As with all service companies, a written quote request is standard and necessary to secure the price and avoid any shady increases in charges. The Red Truck Handyman would not give us a quote.
My mother followed up with them two more times, a puzzling situation where a customer had to chase a contractor, and was told each time by him that he was very busy and unable to give a written quote. After radio silence from the Red Truck Handyman, we finally gave up.
To save precious time, I encourage people to look elsewhere for services. This company made a very bad impression from the beginning with their poor communication, I wouldn't risk a situation where you trusted them with your repairs and money has already been exchanged.
