  • I have been to this location three or four times, it wasn't until yesterday that they hit two stars. For m last few visits, this Korean owned ramen place have never been busy. Their ramen was okay, service was not too bad as well. So I always go back and willing to give them 3 stars. But everything became different when they got busy on boxing day. The ramen were about the same quality, but as usual, don't compare them with Japanese owned places. It was the service we received got the two stars they well deserved. The most important reason why I thought Kenzo's different was their spicy ramen, but I found out yesterday that they no longer do the most spicy ones because there were dispute about the "finish all and have it free" policy or something. So I ordered the less spicy one, but after sending the order to the kitchen, I was told that they don't do it either. Fine, why are the posters still all over the wall, outside of the door then? It doesn't seem to be that hard to peel them off. Another thing, if you are setting the default percentage for tips as 13% or higher on your credit card machine, busy does not justify the change of service level. You can be fast and busy, but still polite and attentive. Learn from other ramen places, they are always busy but they always treat you very well. We understand if there were policies about outside food because we took some bubble teas in, we would even throw it away if needed. But what we got was " Just to confirm this is outside food right? Just take it when you leave." WOW. There was only one guy seemed to care about what the customers asked, but the other girls' bad matter just dragged everybody else down. I feel very bad about the friends I dragged into Kenzo with me yesterday; we could've had better food and service at Sansotei across the street.
