I am a nurse in the area and struggling with the 'crud' that is prevalent now. I knew last night that an Urgent Care visit was needed so I looked on their website and could see just how many people we're 'checking in' for the morning...all the way through til noon! Yet, I know that it is still an Urgent Care and in that, they still indeed honor the line also. I was there when it opened. I was checked in...I knew my insurance was accepted at this location. This is MY responsibility to know. Medical providers and establishments cannot be the final word on which providers take your insurance...it's your dime...find out where you can go. I was seen by a very competent PA who was great..exam,medical advice, RXs & out the door.
There's a prominent sign that tells you what services they offer & what type of provider is on duty. General advice: it's not a clinic, certainly not OB clinical nor is it the ER. If you don't know the difference, ASK THAT QUESTION.
ONLY bad thing indeed was the front office girl was obviously having personal problems. I'm not being crass; however, blunt: You're working with the GP, check your personal stuff before you clock in... I have a feeling that THIS is why the doors were open straight up at 8 a.m.
Not too professional and I'm certain that this adds to the negative reviews....but MEDICALLY, MY visit was spot on.
