  • I have two ratings for this business: I give four stars to the hard working kids who moved our household and did a great job, and zero stars for the office for communication and billing issues. So my composite rating is two stars. My words of advice are to get your estimate in writing beforehand so that there are no surprises. Be aware that you will be charged a $20 pick up/drop off fee for the truck as well as the truck rental cost, mileage, gas, insurance fee, material fee, etc. Do not not expect the office to answer your calls or respond to your messages or emails if you have an issue. I had to email the owner at another email address and file consumer complaints to get any response and eventually a partial refund. While the hard working kids who do the heavy lifting do a great job, the office staff do not do them justice and have a LOT of room to improve. Get your estimate in writing so that you know what fees you will be paying. My initial review below: Terrible experience. Avoid at all costs. While the hard working kids doing the moving do a good job, this is a bait and switch job. They will quote you an hourly rate and a truck charge, then charge you much more than quoted. After the move I was handed a pencil written receipt for much more than quoted. I discussed the matter with the most unpleasant woman in the office who grudgngly agreed that a lower price would then be charged but she said she "didn't have her calculator in front of her". She then STILL billed me 10% more than agreed upon. They will charge you not only a truck rental fee but mileage, gas charge, $15 "insurance fee' and THEN add a mysterious $100 on top of the $125 per hour fee for four movers plus all of the other mentioned fees. So I was billed $125 per hour plus truck, mileage, gas, and $15 insurance fee. OK. They charged my credit card over $100 more than this total. They will not give or email me an itemized receipt breaking down the costs, will not answer the phone or return calls when I leave a message. Crooked. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the troubling of filing consumer complaints etc. Use a reputable mover, not these scam artists.
